Intern

Maelee is entering her fourth year of Interior Architecture at the University of Kansas. During her time there, she has been actively involved in student organizations, serving as the Interior Architecture Representative for AIAS and as Secretary and Co-President of ASID. She also mentors underclassmen through her school’s mentorship program. In the Spring 2026 semester, Maelee was awarded the Design Excellence Award by the Advisory Board for her Fall 2025 studio project. Designing spaces that support people’s health and wellbeing is something she strives to achieve in all of her designs.

on a personal note...

Outside of work and school, Maelee enjoys woodworking, crafts, and spending time with friends. She loves discovering life music and any opportunity to sing and dance along. As a Lawrence native, she is also a proud Jayhawk fan and especially loves the atmosphere inside of Allen Fieldhouse.
