Originally from a small town, Kara was drawn to the energy and diversity of city life and the opportunities it offers for creativity and growth. She earned her Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Kansas State University, where her passion for thoughtful, human-centered design was refined. Her interest in design stems from its unique ability to blend aesthetics with functionality, creating spaces that not only serve a purpose but also evoke feeling and connection.

Since relocating to Kansas City, Kara has embraced all that the city has to offer. Outside of the office, she enjoys staying active, especially through volleyball. She spends a lot of her free time exploring local walking trails and restaurants.
