Independent of our clients’ decision to pursue certification through established building standards like LEED or WELL Building, our projects represent smart integrated design. The selection of efficient systems and responsible materials, from engineered equipment to furnishings, is done to benefit health and productivity of occupants as well as the long-term adaptability and maintenance of facilities. Life-cycle costs are evaluated to balance long-term savings with meeting initial first-cost expenses. While certification systems help educate design teams and the public alike, we believe certifications are a tool and not the goal of sustainability.
