For more than 20 years, Laura has created a unique path practicing as an architect, sustainability consultant, firm owner and museum exhibition designer. As a strategic thinker, she loves to listen, learn and solve. Laura is at ease using her conversational style to bring teams together to tackle complex problems, all while maintaining a cohesive message focusing on what a project needs to say. Laura's ability to balance the impact of strong design vision, efficient project management and collaborative team facilitation has allowed her to practice across multiple sectors including commercial, cultural, municipal and all areas of residential including: institutional, multi-family and single family.
On a personal note...
Laura is very active outside of the office with her two sons, yoga practice and home renovation projects. Her passion for creating is part of her everyday life, from being a slow-cook to sewing to restoring furniture. As a Friends of Art Council Member, Laura is a regular at the Nelson-Atkins and explores her love of art, wherever it takes her.
