GastingerWalker& is an established 60+ person Kansas City based Architectural and Interior Design Firm and has a career opportunity available for an Interior Designer or Interior Architect to join our Kansas City creative team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on diverse projects in our Work, Learn, Live, Heal and Play practice areas. The ideal candidate has 4-8 years of experience in interior design, is team-oriented, seeking growth and learning opportunities on a variety of project types.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients

  • Work with team leadership to generate creative concepts and solutions within the client’s functional and budget parameters

  • Participate on project teams through all phases of projects

  • Participate in the development of design presentations

  • Coordinate with consultants and vendors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in interior design or architecture, CIDA accredited program preferred

  • NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred or on track for completion

  • Intermediate Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite; Skills in use of Adobe InDesign, Sketchup and other 3-d software preferred

  • Intermediate knowledge of construction documentation and construction administration

  • Knowledge of vendors and sources
