Andy believes that simplification of form and details lead to straightforward solutions. From conceptual design to construction documents, he believes that deciphering and relating details to each other can transform a good project into a great project. While design and aesthetics are important, he realizes that the client’s goals and budgets are paramount. He leads projects with a calm and cooperative approach. After working on large-scale commercial, hospitality and high-rise office projects for 7 years in Chicago, he has been designing in the financial institution and office realm since joining GastingerWalker&.

Andy loves all things outdoors. He chose architecture school over playing college soccer. After living in Chicago for seven years, he still frequents the city but loves living in Kansas City for its proximity to rural and urban areas.
